✍️ Sign Up
Sign up to our RatherChat Platform: Create your account, verify your email address, and continue into the platform. The sign-up flow also checks whether you already have a company invite linked to your email address. Once signed up, you'll gain access to all our tools to manage your WhatsApp conversations.
- Navigate to Sign up
- Enter your email address to begin
- Follow the steps below to create and verify your account
📧 Step 1: Continue With Your Email
The first step checks whether your email address can continue through the sign-up flow.
- Enter your email address
- Click Continue
The platform will then check:
- Whether a user account with that email already exists
- Whether your email address has one or more company invites linked to it
What Happens Next
- If the email already belongs to an existing user, sign-up stops and you will see an error message.
- If the email can continue, you will move to the account creation step.
👤 Step 2: Create Your Account
On the next screen, complete the required account fields:
- Full Name
- Password
- Confirm Password
Then click Verify Account.
Full Name Requirements
- Enter at least a first name and a surname
- Make sure your surname contains more than 3 characters
Password Requirements
- Passwords must be at least 8 characters long
- The confirmation password must match exactly
🔄 Account Setup Checks
After you submit the form, the platform runs a short setup process and shows progress in an overlay.
The setup checks include:
- Creating your account
- Company connected
- Sending verification code
What "Company Connected" Means
- If your email already has a pending company invite, the platform marks the company step as complete.
- If your email does not have a pending invite, you can still continue sign-up, but you will create a company after verifying your email.
If a setup step fails, you can retry that step from the progress overlay.
📬 Step 3: Verify Your Email
Once the account has been created, the platform sends a verification email to the address you entered.
On the verification message screen, you can:
- Read the confirmation message
- Resend the verification email
- Close the screen and return later
Important
- Verification happens through an email link
- You do not enter a manual verification code in the platform
- If you do not see the email, check your spam or junk folder
✅ Step 4: Open The Verification Link
Open the latest verification email and click the verification link.
The platform will then:
- Validate the token from the email link
- Verify your account
- Sign you into the platform
If the verification link is invalid, incomplete, or expired, the platform will show an error and you should use the latest email link or request a new email.
🏢 What Happens After Verification
What happens next depends on whether your email was already linked to a company invite.
If You Have A Company Invite
- Your account is verified
- You are signed in automatically
- You are taken into the platform dashboard
If You Do Not Have A Company Invite
- Your account is verified
- You are signed in automatically
- You are taken to the company creation flow
🏢 Create Your Company
If your email address is not linked to an existing company invite, the platform will ask you to create a company after your email has been verified.
On the Create Company screen, complete the following fields:
- Company Logo
- Company Name
Then click Create Company.
Company Creation Requirements
- A company logo is required before the button becomes available
- A company name is required
- The company name must contain at least 3 characters
What Happens Next
- Your company is created
- Your new company becomes your active workspace
- You are taken to the next onboarding step to start WhatsApp integration
👉 Continue to Connect to WhatsApp
If you do not want to continue at that point, you can click Cancel and return later.
⚠️ Common Sign-Up Issues
User with that email already exists
Use the login page instead, or reset your password if needed.I did not receive the verification email
Check your spam folder, then use Resend code on the verification message screen.The verification link does not work
Use the latest verification email. Older links may no longer be valid.I do not have a company invite
You can still complete sign-up and create a company after your email is verified.
